I did a decent amount of work this week, which included more database entry work. I also helped to locate animation drawings for "The Toxic Crusaders" series, so that the images could be posted onto the Troma site and Youtube. I also had to locate some digi-beta and beta tapes for several film to be transfered over. Some films I searched for included Eve's Beach Fantasy and Witchcraft. I also did some restocking of DVDs on the shelves in the basement section. I also spend time filing dialogue lists for "Story of a Junkie" and "Trailer Town".
Most of the second day of this week was spent doing a dialogue list for a retro slasher film called "Blood Junkie", which was filmed in 2009, but the director tried to make it seem like it was 1988. This movie is not the best retro style of film. I know the 80's and this film doesn't take full advantage of the 80's. This film also suffers from slow pacing. There are some funny moments, but the body count and execution of the murders are not great by any stretch of the imagination. It's surprising how long it takes to transcribe a film's dialogue onto paper (excel file actually). In 4 1/2 hours I only transcribed 48 minutes of the film!
